My name is Janine, and I’m the J in JD’s (my husband Daniel, and my son Dane are the D’s). I moved to Romsey from Melbourne around 13 years ago to be with my family - I met my husband and we called Romsey home.
My background is beauty, and I was a very successful nail technician - I started my own business at the age of 21 in a very exclusive hair salon in the heart of Melbourne. This is where my love of hair came from, and what started my passion to cut hair.
As soon as the opportunity came along to buy Sapphire Hairdressing, I had to have it. I signed up for a barber course and my dream to cut hair finally happened. My main goal in buying the salon was to create a beautiful space to have fun and to be creative in a drama-free environment and great community.
